Maui Vacation

The human pack took a week off to go to paradise and relax.  We stayed in the Kihei region of Maui.  Even though we had to do a little bit of work, we managed to switch to vacation mode right away and enjoyed tons of activities.  My favorite was early morning jogging and strolling on the beach, with the sound of the waves breaking, and the cold water cooling me down.  The weather in Maui was beautiful: high 80s and super moist air.  Our skin and hair rejoiced, and our frozen San Francisco bones finally warmed up.

{View from our room.  Waking up and falling asleep with the sound of waves breaking is super therapeutic, and we miss it a lot}

{We tried -from left to right - hawaiian bread, starfruit, dragonfruit, & breadfruit, which we found is not an actual fruit,  but more similar to potatoes}

 {Beach time!}

{Playing in the water}

{Sugar Beach}

 {Hiking the super green Waihee Ridge Trail}

 {Pack member Andrew golfed a bunch.  8th hole of the Kapalua Plantation Course pictured here}

   {17th hole at Kapalua}

 {We went out to dinner}

{Dinner at Mama's Fish House}

Thanks for visiting!
